I am a curious spirit and a quick learner. I have been in the technology industry from the last 5 years with an experience of working with international clients. The work experience as an Entrepreneur in e commerce space and strategizing operations working with designers, developers, sales, marketing, delivery, inventory managers, s.e.o., digital media marketing, customer support substantiated my move towards management.

I have started the blog with an intent to share my experiences in personal and professional space and bring back to life my most loved hobby “WRITING”.

On a daily basis, I am an eager beaver and a self-starter. I have been a Woman Entrepreneur, Business Strategist and now a Blogger. From Monday to Friday, I am the bold and confident Manager and Motivator to my team at work bridging the communication gap between technical and non-technical teams and ensuring timely completion of projects.

My areas of strength involve team management, project delivery, data analysis, client management, agile scrum and kanban methodology and effective Client communication both oral and written.  I have tracked projects maintaining detailed report of Key Parameter Indicators for respective clients. Trained and mentored teams for streamlining standards for written communication with clients. Utilized elicitation and interviewing techniques for gathering requirements from clients.

FACILITATION AND ELICITATION

The first and key step to gather requirements from clients starts being a good listener and a true observer. I have actively initiated and conducted virtual calls with clients at multiple geographical locations making use of primary and secondary research methods. Interviewing key stakeholders from client team led to a deeper understanding of business objectives leading to creating a detailed functional requirement document.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

The focus is to plan, develop, and implement a business change plan for the planned release considering launch, IT support service activities, and business changes (such as training, update of knowledge bases and procedures, new tools). The change implementation depends on the type of delivery like Module delivery or the enhancements that follow after the release of the module.


DOCUMENTATION AND SPECIFICATION

Once the requirements are captured after the client meeting, the next task in line is to document requirements in detail to keep the team informed about the update in the requirements. The technical team members will refer this document before developing the module to gain a clear understanding on factors like current stakeholders, business processes, desired business goals, functional requirements, wire frames etc. This documentation serve as a basis for the Product Manager to assign story points at the time of sprint planning. .

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

I have managed clients since the very beginning of my career and till my last job as a Senior Manager where I was leading a team of Regional Managers. It was here that I again started managing clients at international locations along with some key clients in the Northern region of India. I have conducted virtual calls with respective stakeholders and ensured time to time written communication with progress of the project. It was maintaining the Key Performance Indicators that led me to coordinate with Growth, Content and Graphics team on a regular basis.
